I've never seen so many ... little faces. After being a school person and behavior analyst for years... what a revelation!

Frannkly I thought they were lost. Or maybe I was dreaming. But then, when I came to this place to respond - there they were...are. See?I mean you do see them don't you?

yes, yes! i also see them. isn't it exciting?!! now when we are at a loss for words to describe our deepest emotions we can find a tiny face to do that for us. (that's why they are called emoticons)

well rod, i pushed the button thinking that something really exciting would happen, but i only found a "server not found" message. i was greatly disappointed. Do you have something more exciting in your bag of tricks?

I thought I would try expressing this deep emotion:
And nothing happened. So I thought "emoticons" may not really be it. How about putting the AUM, IONs event on the Internaitonal Calendar?

Yes, i admit these emoticons are a bit limited. But i understand there are vast libraries of emoticons out there.I can look for more and most likely there is a way that i could add them to our current collection.I will add the AUM Conference to the calendar.

Thanks to Grace, human and divine, for posting the aUM links, and to Liz for the brochre, which I would like to see, and who I would like to see, reactivated here.

Hello Gang,Well, I think I should get in on this this on the ground level, like any good pyramid scheme... There aren't so many emoticons here as there are in some boards. We just need to put up the "avatars" for ourselves (pretty strange term in this context)!May this be the beginning of a very fruitful enterprise!

Well good to hear from you all. It's nice to see some activity now happening in the forum. I still have a lot of "tweaking" to do to the site and many new functions that i'd like to add, so i really appreciate the enthusiasm early in the development stages. It gives me added inspiration to keep building on the site.Welcome all!love, grace

I am still waiting for all the members of the Knowledge project to join, without any perceptible response. Would you mind sending another invitation to the list? It seems easier to connect through your links than from the browser, at least on the system I'm using. In general, welcome Charles. Is there a really live enlightened avatar emoticon on earth?

Rod,i will send another e-mail invitation to the group through the list server, although i don't think my connections are any better than yours. The dsl here has just been terribly unreliable lately. My mail to the group may be a bit delayed as i am not on the list serve and so will have to await approval by the group moderator before my mail is sent to the group.cheers, grace

They never intended to make a religion or saints of them

from Donald Asoka to Tusar N. Mohapatra tusarnmohapatra@gmail.com date 08-Jul-2007 13:54 subject Re: Aurora Mirabilis : The lack of respect is pathetic Hola Tusar
Thank you for your reply and indeed a whole new agenda is awaiting us, but also, one must remember to remember the past as Sri Aurobindo has said that the past is an intrigal part of our evolution and we are a product of our lifes experience. My wife and I were reading from: Mother- The Mutation of Death by Satprem, this morning and believe that he and Sujata have made a powerful contribution to the world in being a vehicle for humanity to embrace the true essence of both Sri Aurobindo and our beloved Mother, we must however remember that the knowledge and inspiration bestowed upon us by them is intended for us to evolve and digest as our level of awareness permits, they never intended to make a religion or saints of them, only to realize the potential of Saint and Goddleness within ourselves.
